Every Night

The new ritual, it would seem, is to be put to bed, wait until we go downstairs, then creep (like a yoked set of oxen, thumping and stomping the whole way) to Mama’s closet where they don her jammies over their own. Then they crowd into Maya’s bed and giggle at their exploits until falling asleep, at which point I gently lift my dainty little 49 lb son into his own bed so they’ll both get better sleep.

The bigs are just so cute! I can see them sneaking into the closet to get dressed and oh the fun of success in wearing her clothes. Just beautiful kids. Such delicate little ones we have I must say.
