About Lemonpuss
I am living the dream and staying home to raise my three kids while my wife and I try to renovate our 150 year old farmhouse and keep the grapevines from consuming the house. We are a free-range family, and I spend my days with the kids crafting, gardening, canning fruit, and keeping the peace. Some days I'm lucky enough to fit in a little knitting. Game on!

Waiting for the bus
The boys love to shovel the path with grandpa while we wait for the bus. I drink my coffee while holding the leash of our newest, and third, dog so he acclimated to our family and its rhythms.

Self-cleaning Baby
Now, when Truman says, “I want tubby, Mommy” I’ll know to move a little faster. By the time I finished what I was doing he was in the tub, stopper in place, filling it with hot water. In his PJs … Continue reading

To infinity and beyond
You know how in the Little Bear book he makes a hat that sends him to the moon? After one reading of that story little Truman plunked a greasy popcorn bag on his head and announced that hiya helmet was … Continue reading

Two!
I keep meaning to update all the folks who aren’t FB friends. We are back from the Caribbean, where we had as close to an idyllic two weeks of vacation as is possible with three kids six and under, one … Continue reading

BOA!
Having the older sister he does means that when he spotted this display he ran to it squealing “BOA! BOA!” and with that one action brightened three entire aisles of churlish holiday shoppers. I had a hard time getting him … Continue reading
