About Lemonpuss
I am living the dream and staying home to raise my three kids while my wife and I try to renovate our 150 year old farmhouse and keep the grapevines from consuming the house. We are a free-range family, and I spend my days with the kids crafting, gardening, canning fruit, and keeping the peace. Some days I'm lucky enough to fit in a little knitting. For the Love of Ken
Grandma clearly knows best. The boy received a Ken doll at his sister’s birthday and wouldn’t give it the time of day. He has come full circle and Ken is in hot rotation now. Or rather cold rotation, as nudity … Continue reading

Quickening
I have many friends who have suffered infertility. A lot of them have arrived at being parents in some way, but not without a significant amount of heartache. Some of them remain childless, and are living with the ache that … Continue reading
Baby Gussie
Griffin came up withe nickname “Baby Gussie” for the fetus when it was still an embryo; it was benign enough, and so it stuck. I trust that we will find something better to actually name it in time – or … Continue reading
It’s Been a Long Time Coming
It would appear that I’ve fallen a little pregnant – about 19 wks worth. I just passed the amnio. Due date February 7. And there was (and will continue to be) much rejoicing! Not much sleeping, but whatever – I’ll … Continue reading
